ICRISAT International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) is a non-profit, non-political organization with its headquarters in Hyderabad, Telangana State, India. The institute caters to the needs of 2 billion people dwelling in 6.5 million square kilometers semi-arid or dryland tropics in 55 countries. ICRISAT and its partners help empower these poor people to overcome poverty, hunger and a degraded environment through better agriculture. It specializes in crop specific microbiomes for enhanced farm productivity and impart tolerance to abiotic and biotic stresses. Dr. KRK Reddy Founder, Director & CEO of Sri Bio-Aesthetics Pvt. Ltd. is one of the pioneers to start a microbiome-based biotech company in India. Alongside guiding several post graduate students and filing seven patents in his career, Dr. Reddy received awards like ‘Pearl of Andhra Pradesh” and other State and National Awards. With its stat of the art in-house R & D facility, the company has received several National and International grants to establish collaborative research under public-private partnerships.


Varsha Bioscience and Technology India Technology Pvt. Ltd is a renowned ISO 9001:2015 company offering a variety of bio-inputs and specialty products. Dr. A. John Peter, CEO is a former scientist of ICRISAT and NARDI. The company has modern infrastructure to conduct research, scaled-up production and marketing. The company has 23 products certified under National Program for Organic Production; 17 products registered with CIBRC including 4 export licenses and 14 products under FCO. Prof. T.N. Ananthakrishnan Research Centre is recognized by the DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The company has bagged research projects from various funding agencies, bagged best R&D award twice and trained several post-graduate students and trainees. The company has its presence in African and South-East nations.


Prathista Industries Limited, is, an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, HACCP & ISO 22000: 2005 certified, one of the Asia's largest Industrial Fermentation establishments for APIs/food ingredients, bulk drugs, organic agri-inputs, animal health care products and other plant-based specialty products. The company provides training the post-graduate students. The nutraceuticals are licensed by FSSAI - Govt. of India along with other global certifications like USFDA, Kosher & Halal. The company's in-house R&D centre is recognized by the DSIR, Govt. of India. Agri Life, established in 2003, is focused on promoting organic inputs for agriculture and manufactures a wide range of bio-inputs for crop health, landscaping and public health. It has 108 products approved for use in organic agriculture. The Company has completed 25 projects with 86 satisfied client bases with about 30% products being exported. The In-house R&D centre is recognized by the DSIR, Government of India. The company provides focused training to BCIL scholars and biotech students. It also works closely with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Agri Life products have been registered with Central Insecticides Board, Govt of India.

 


Vaishnavi Biotech Limited is one of the Asia's largest industrial fermentation establishments and manufactures a wide range of eco-friendly biotechnology products. Field experiments as per ICAR and State Agricultural University norms are being conducted in seven acres of agricultural research farm and 8000 SFT green house. The sprawling R&D centre (7000 SFT) and pilot plant and post fermentation processing facilities (25000 SFT) host modern facilities. The R&D facility is recognized by the DSIR, Government of India. The School has also made arrangements with nationally acclaimed NGOs like WoTR, BAIF and NARI for honing the skills of the students through internships.

WOTR is a globally recognized non-profit organization and think tank.
