Dr. Indra Raj Singh has done Ph.D. in Soil Science, M.Sc with Honours in Soil Science & B.Sc with Honours from Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner. He has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience in Agricultural Sciences. He has expertise in soil science, organic agriculture, and sustainable farming practices. His contributions to sustainable agricultural productivity have been substantial, as evidenced by his involvement in research projects focusing on advanced soil fertility and modern farming practices.

Dr. Singh embarked on his professional journey in 2002 as a research associate at CSSRI, Karnal. He contributed his expertise to various ICAR institutions, including WTC-IARI New Delhi, NBSS & LUP New Delhi, and CSWCRI Dehradun as a researcher. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Adama University in Ethiopia.

Before Joining NMIMS, he was associated with Fiji National University, Fiji as HOD of Soil Science & Agriculture Chemistry, Head of School- Agriculture & Forestry, and HOD ā€“ Soil Science & Biosystems Engineering.
